1999 Aston Martin Vantage Le Mans
Here it is, the 1999 Vantage Le Mans.  So beautiful.  Don't you just want to love it and stroke it?  There are only forty of these in ciruculation, each named and numbered part of the special edition made in honor of their many victories in the World Sportscar Championship.  It is available with a 550 or a 600 horsepower twin supercharged 5.3 litre Aston Marin V8 engine.  That is about 3 times the power output of the six cylinder Le Mans wining DBRI.  This wonderful machine  has the capability to exceed 200mph and reach 100 mph in far less than 10 seconds.  When buying one of these you are also given an infinite variety of body colors and Connolly hide upholstery.  The color pictured is the famous Aston Martin "racing green".  The Vantage Le Mans has an extended front spoiler designed to created positive down force as an aid to high speed aerodynamic efficiency.  Another aid to aerodynamics and enhanced engine and supercharger performance, additional and enlarged cooling ducts are put into the new style radiator panel, the bonnet, and front wing side vents.  A new design panel beneath the rear bumper accommodates the reversing and high intensity rear fog lamps and the increased diameter exhaust tail pipes.    And to underline the racing pedigree of this special model of the Vantage seperate bright metal, machined, competition style lockable caps are fitted to the twin fuel fillers.  The interior of the new model of the V8 Vantage has a drilled bright metal brake, clutch and accelerator pedals and a machined aluminum knob fitted to the gear lever.  The traditional wood veneers used for the instrument panel, center console and door trim panels are replaced by Titanium finish panels together with a magnolia-faced instrument display which is dominated by the enlared tachometer and the engine start button. The world famous Aston Martin wings are embossed into the Wilton carpet floor covering and each of these special Vantages will leave with its keys attached to a hallmarked sterling silver key fob together with directions to the Le Mans circuit which will be placed in the owner's handbook.   The car will be equipped with magnesium alloy wheels together with the special brake, steering, and suspensions systems which are fitted to all the 600 horsepower  models.
Also included is an anti-lock brake system incorporating AP Racing six piston caipers with special grooved and ventilated discs at the front together with four piston calipers and grooved ventilated discs at the rear.  Adjustable shock absorbers in the front and rear suspensions systems enable the chassis to be adjusted to the driver's preference.   So hightech and so beautiful.  Who wouldn't want to drive this car.  I will be driving this someday.  When, I'm not sure.
