Hey, I can't help it if I am so wonderfully droolsome!
The Cause
Colonel/General Jack O'Neill
Jackoholism - the compelling need to watch
Colonel/General Jack ONeill of
Stargate SG-1

Jackoholism may also be referred to as an
Addiction to Jack ONeill or a Jack ONeill Addiction.

Physically, those afflicted usually experience excessive drooling
and/or heart palpitations.  It mainly affects emotion state.
Results in an uncontrollable obsession to fawn over The Cause.
Often takes away focus from essential tasks, such as a job,
school, and even eating.

There is no known cure, nor is it desired.

Common afflictions associated with Jackoholism when a sufferer is deprived:

Jack withdrawal:

After a long period without seeing him, you are suddenly hit by a moment of panic, realizing that you have forgotten about him, even for a second.  From that point on, he is the only thing you can think about for long periods of time.
Jack withdrawal can be lessened by looking at a picture of him or perhaps a short snippet of an episode of Stargate SG-1.  Try to resist watching an entire episode or more of Stargate SG-1.  It could actually worsen your condition.

Lack of Jack Attack (or LJA):

It has been a really long time since you have had exposure to Jack, and you cannot shake a bad case of
Jack withdrawal, no matter how hard you try.  The only definite way to alleviate your LJA is to pull out your recordings or, if applicable, your DVDs and watch as much of him as you desire.
