| TIPS FOR STUDENTS |
| I believe that each and every one of you can succeed and make a difference in any way that you chose. I encourage you use your time wisely and learn as much as you possibly can. Middle school and high school should be an exciting time where you can learn about yourselves and others. A time where you can expand your world view, help your community and gain the knowledge you need for the years to come. 1. Always be prepared. Being prepared means being on time, having the necessary tools, mentally preparing yourself for the task at hand. These are vital to success and with this basic preparation you will be set up for success before you even begin. 2. Keep a great attitude. Keeping high spirits and positive thoughts will get you through the highs and lows of your life. Keeping positive thoughts in your head and people around you will provide room for success every time. Though things may not go your way, everything is a learning experience. 3. Life is a learning experience. There will be highs and lows, ups and downs through out life. Keep your head high and be prepared to celebrate and learn from every experience that comes your way. Failure will happen to everyone at some time. Those who learn from the failure will go on to be great and do great things. Always bounce back and give it another try. 4. Never give up. As I said previously those who never give up will learn from their experiences and go on to acheive their goals. Every experience is something to grow from and shape our lives into what we want it to be. Keep solid goals in mind and you will eventually be rewarded for hard work. Those around you will notice your ambition and work ethic and use you as a role model to help them succeed also. |
