Saluda Middle School

This is my second year teaching math education. My first year I taught 6th grade and have moving up to teach 8th grade. I am also a member of the School Improvement Council at SMS. I have truly enjoyed both these years teaching at Saluda Middle School.
I grew up in the beautiful town of Oxford, Ohio and went to college in Athens, Ohio. From Ohio I decided to venture to South Carolina to see what it could offer. The state is beautiful and has offered a wide variety of adventures. Saluda Middle School has been an amazing and encouraging school to come as a first year teacher and I know I will enjoy this next year to come.
Some of the things I enjoy outside of school is traveling, reading, listening to music, remaining active and learning. I have a goal to travel to each of the 50 states (25 down). I also would like to acheive my masters degree in the next few years.
I truly believe that if someone is willing to work hard they can reach their dreams.
