The book Poems was authored by Julia Pleasants Creswell, born in 1827 in Huntsville, Alabama.

This book was first published in the 1920's by Julia's son, James Pleasants Creswell, of Shreveport, Louisiana.

Poems is 123 pages in length and is updated with a host of old family pictures spanning nine generations dating back to her grandfather, Thomas Bibb, the second governor of Alabama, and including pictures of current family members including former Mayor James C. Gardner of Shreveport, Louisiana, the Bibbs of Huntsville, Alabama, and the descendants of Julia Woods Smythe, of Newport Beach, California.

This is a book the reader will treasure because the poetry is not only easy to understand in our modern day but is mixed with joy and pain as she had known the hardship of losing her mother when she was an adolescent as well as several of her young children.

The book Poems is published in a limited edition, hard-backed, burgundy, gold stamped and may be ordered through Ritz Publications for $42.95 plus $5.00 shipping and handling. For orders of ten or more copies remit only $10.00 for shipping. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. Click here for a printable order form.

Aphelia and Other Poems, is a 272 page, burgundy, hard bound, gold-stamped book, authored by Julia Pleasants-Creswell and her cousin Thomas Bibb Bradley, known as Two Cousins of The South. This rare, out of print book, was first published in 1854 by the Charles Scribner Publishing Co. It was published the same year that Thomas Bibb Bradley died at the age of twenty-eight and unmarried.

This book is beautifully written and is being republished in an effort to leave a legacy that both of these fine authors deserved to leave not only for themselves but for their ancestors and heirs who have touched so many lives.

This book may be ordered for $49.95 plus $5.00 shipping and handling. For orders of ten or more copies remit only $10.00 for shipping and handling. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. Click here for a printable order form.

Callamura was first published in 1868. It is another rare, out of print, book penned by Julia Pleasants-Creswell, and has been seen by almost none of the living descendants of Mrs. Creswell as it has been out of print so long.

Callamura is a 454 page autobiographical style novel set during the Civil War and first published by Westcott and Thomson in 1868 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Callamura is being reproduced by Ritz Publications in a quest to preserve the legacy that Julia, her ancestors and heirs so richly deserve. In our opinion she should rank with Emily Dickinson in style and quality of her work.

This treasure is being republished in a burgundy, hard bound, gold-stamped, limited edition and may be ordered for $79.95 plus $5.00 shipping and handling. For orders of ten or more copies remit only $10.00 S/H and allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

All of these books would be great for anyone who treasures rare, out of print books of reading that will grip your soul as you say "I've had those same thoughts myself".
