House where Joseph C. Morris and wife, Lydia settled near Toddville, Iowa

This is the house where Joseph C. Morris and wife, Lydia Morris settled near Toddville, Iowa, in the middle 1800's, after moving from Monmouth County, New Jersey. He was Sarah's great great grandfather pictured on this site.

Mabel Morris Heinrich, Sarah's cousin, from Newhall, Iowa, took the picture the same year that she spent a month in the hospital recovering from a broken back she incurred while mowing her grass on a riding mower after her husband passed away shortly before.
