Sarah Hudson Pierce is surrounded by pals as she blows out candles on her cake at a birthday celebration in her honor. Celebrators gathered last Sunday at Boulevard House at Faifield Place for the affair given by Tanya Alexander, Mary Helen Stovall, Leta Leshe, Gloria Winters and Jill Klein.

Special entertainment included a recorded reading of a poem, Hello Again...It's Me...Sarah! by Tanya Alexander.

A special moment at the party came when Pierce released helium-filled balloons into the sky, as soloist Martha Kostick Hoilier sang a special blessing to her. The baloons were inscribed with birthday wishes by guests.
