The last house where Sarah lived before going into foster care and then the orphanage.  It is located on a heavily wooded country road near Noel, Missouri
Sarah's maternal great-great grandfather, Joseph C. Morris, born in 1811 in Monmouth County, New Jersey, the husband of Sarah's great-great grandmother, Lydia Hulse, also of Monmouth County, New Jersey.  They were long-time residents of Linn County, Iowa
Sarah's maternal grandfather, W.H. Morris, a doctor, from Linn County, Iowa, with her great-grandmother, Mary J. Morris.  Dr. Morris graduated from Keokuk Medical College (below) in Keokuk, Iowa, in 1864
Sarah's maternal grandfather, J.O. Morris, and grandmother, Myrtle May Maples Morris.  They homesteaded in Oklahoma before statehood.  For a while they lived in an underground Indian dwelling.  Sarah's grandmother died at twenty-five, leaving two young children.
