Grandmamartha

When our baby boy Jesse died, Martha, his grandma, was devasted. She lived out of State from us, but she was there over the telephone to comfort and support us. You see, she knew what it was like to lose a baby. She had lost 3 children in her lifetime, all of them babies. She told me the pain never goes away. She cried with us, for she understood our pain. She told me that one day she will hold her 3 babies again in Heaven. I told her if she gets to Heaven before me, to give my Jesse a kiss from me and his daddy. She said, "Honey, I'll be holding my 3 babies, and your baby".

Little did we know how soon that day would come. Martha went into the hospital on Christmas Eve 2000. She died quickly and went home with the Lord on December 31st, 2000- only a month and a half after baby Jesse died. I know that she is holding Jesse and her 3 babies, just like she said.
