| State v. Collins, 16 RI 371, 17 At 131 (R.I. 1888). A bicycle is a carriage or vehicle within the meaning of the statute requiring, upon meeting another person also traveling, driving to the right of the center of the traveled part of the road, to enable passing without interference or interruption. From the court's opinion: "The word 'vehicle' is certainly broad enough to include any machine which is used and driven on the traveled part of the highway for the pupose of conveyance upon the highway." | ||||
