| Harden v. City of Jackson, 100 NW 389 (1904). The plaintiff pedestrian was walking with a crutch in his left hand and a cane in his right hand, and the cane went through a crack between decayed sidewalk boards. The plaintiff fell and was injured. Municipalities are not liable for injuries to pedestrians using canes, where the sidewalk is reasonably safe for pedestrians who do not use canes.
