TRIVIA 44: Ameria Brightman



Amelia is youngest Sarah's sister. She was born in Dacorum in 1979.

These days she is preparing a record that will include brand new tracks produced by, between others, Stephen Hague (Tom Jones, Pretenders, Pet Shop Boys, Blur, Robert Palmer, Erasure, Peter Gabriel) and Chuck Norman (Robin Williams, Tanita Tikaram). It will probably be released mid-2002.

There was a time when we didn't know if she is the voice that sings in "Moment of Peace" and not Sarah. It was Sarah who told herself in an interview she was the singer in this song, and not her sister Amelia. Gregorian have spent almost a whole year doing the selection of new songs and six months of production to release a new album called MASTER OF CHANT-CHAPTER II where "Moment of Peace" is included. Amelia has also a pretty voice, but she has two great advantages: genetic and the best master - her own sister!

And, by the way, neither Gregorian nor Enigma are real monks. Gregorian is, actually, a professional Gregorian choir from Britain.

Nicola Brightman, Sarah and Amelia's sibling,  co-wrote "Rain", and I saw her in Les Miserables at the Bristol Hipprodrome.
