Simple and Free, that's the way i like it...well, at least with crafts. You can use canisters that you get from using up your favorite producs like chips, formula, and cereal. Kids think this is wild and it's SIMPLE and FREE.
I call this the Canister Keeper. It's a simple project that anybody can do and it's usefull. All you need is a canister of some sort, preferably a larger one, paper or paint of you choice in colors/kind and some things to decorate it with including tacky glue.
1:) Clean the canister, if it has sharp edges don't allow a child to    play with it.
2:)measure it and have an ADULT cut the paper to the correct size
3:)glue the paper to the canister with tacky glue
4:)decorate the way you want to!

Here I used glitter, colored floss and some ribbon. Note, the glitter may stick a little better if you allow the glue to dry just a tad bit.
