You may have been wondering what happened to me. I used to update this page at least once a week with new pictures, weight loss, etc.

Like everyone else,  I am human and fell off the weight loss wagon. I suffered an injury which haulted my running. I lost a close friend and coworker who was only 39 years old. My marriage started to crumble. And my job moved offices, causing a lot of work stress I wasn't used to.

Before I knew what happened, I was 180 pounds, 202 pounds, 220 pounds and then, I saw the scale hit 260.8 pounds in May of 2008.

I rejoined weight watchers and by August of 2008, I had lost 13 pounds, bringing me back down to 247.8 pounds. I thought that I was, once again, back on my way to getting healthy and getting back to 150 pounds.

However that did not happen. Life, work, whatever got in the way and as of today, I am currently 254.2 pounds.

I have started (yet again) going back to weight watchers meetings and hopefully will reach my goal of 150 pounds (again) in the not so distant future.

I know it can be done, I've done it. I have seen other people do it and I will do it again, no matter how long it takes me.

I leave you with something my leader, Beth, read to us this morning:
The Daffodil Principle
