Journal 12/2

Pretend you are governor and the governor of another state has requested that a child and parent in your state be extradited. That parent was not awarded custody in a recent divorce case, and move to your state in an attempt to retain custody of the child. You believe the court case was unfair. What should you do?

Because I believe that the court case is unfair of course I would let the parent and child stay in my state.  It is true though that it would bother me that I let him/her stay with his/her child.  I would like to have the case be brought back but placed in my states and see what would happen in my state and not necessarily the other one.
