There aren’t a lot of differences between the presidency and the governorship.  One major difference is that the has to be born in the United States to actually be the president.  The Governor just has to have lived in the United States for a certain time period.  There are a lot of similarities in the two leadership positions.  One would be that they govern over an area of land.  The president, though can declare war on a country, but the governor does not have the ability to do that.  There is also things that they have to have done like lived in the United States for a certain period of time, they also have to be a certain age or older to run.  They are also elected and have someone below them incase they are unable to do their job.
