- A
direct tax is one that must be paid by the person on whom it is imposed. An indirect tax is one first paid by one
person but then passed on to another.
Commerce power is the power of Congress to regulate interstate and
foreign trade. Legal tender is any
kind of money that is paid by law to pay for debts. Bankruptcy is the legal proceeding in which
the bankrupt’s assets are distributed among those to whom he owes money
to. Copyright is the exclusive
right of an author to reproduce, publish, and sell his or her creative
work. A patent is something that
grants a person the right to manufacture, use or sell a product. An eminent domain is the inherent power
to take a private property for public use.

of the Constitution.

Constitution. They are that the
Congress can declare war. It can
also raise and support armies, provide and maintain a navy, and make rules
pertaining to governing the land and naval forces. Congress also has the ability to grant
letters or marque and reprisal and make rule concerning the captures on
land and water.
