There is a part of me That is filled with pain and rage I feel trapped in a cage like an animal Screaming and yelling to get out Fighting the rage and terror In the dark room, Emotions coming and going Fear, Pain, Anger, Frustration, Hurt, No, can't feel anymore Must push away And there is another part Of me is peaceful and beautiful It's colorful world It's safe from harm No worries I can run free through the valleys No pain or rage No like a trapped animal in a cage I'd rather stay here Then go back The darkness has to end!
