| Not a whole lot of new information to give you. Except to say that I feel very safe here in my community. There has been an outpouring of love and concern for my well-being. I have been trying to contact everyone via email, and to let you all knwo that I am safe. There is no direct threat against americans in Bulgaria, and therefore the Ambassador has decided to keep us where we are. We are actually safer in our own towns than we would be if we were all brought together. I have a phone now in my apartment, and will email everyone the number. I will be gone for the weekend, but school starts on Monday, and I will be back for that. We are trying to go about our lives normally here, trying to put everything that has happened to the backs of our minds. For me, at least, that seems to be the only way to live through it. I love you all, and wish that I was with you during this awful time. Please stay safe and do not worry about me. I am being taken care of. Love, sarah |
