| July 5, 2001 Wow. So much has happened in the past few days. Time for a little relaxation!!! Training is kicking my butt, as usual! I've been getting fairly sick lately, but I went into the medical office in Sofia today, and I think we got things squared away. I even got to speak with the country director a little bit which was nice. Last night we had the 4th of July party!!! It was so wonderful. There was great music, wonderful people, good food, and there were fireworks!!! Not a show like in the states, but fireworks nonetheless. The people here were pretty great about celebrating our nations holiday! It's been pretty rainy here lately, which I love. It definately doesn't make me miss home. We got paid again today, which doesn't really matter because we're all still pretty broke, but we knew that coming into this. Oh well right?? :) On the up side, this week is almost over, Thank goodness!!! I'll be so happy to say that my second week is done. Things are really going to start flying by.
