| Wow, today was interesting. I went to church with my sisters, and that was really nice. I thought we were going to mass, but it turns out we only went to light candles for my journey. It was pretty cool. There are some awesome frescos in the churches, and now I really want to learn more about them. My sisters are 15 and 17, and seem to be pretty cool. I only know that I'm glad they speak a little english! It is so helpful. Tomorrow the U.S. Ambassador to Bulgaria will be coming to visit us, so everyone will have to dress up. I've been eyeing this fabulous dress in the window of a shop I walk by everyday, so today I went in, and since it was only 12 leva (about 6$) I bought it! I'm so happy with my purchase :) My arm is still pretty bruised from the MMR shot, and I got it almost a week ago. And today we left the pizza place after lunch and I took a huge tumble down some very steep stone stairs. I thought at first that I had sprained my ankle, but now I think I just twisted it. Anyway, Sarah the Klutz strikes again!!!!! Next weekend there is a group of us planning a camping trip, and that should be pretty fun. I'm looking forward to just getting away from training, and all that other stuff. It really is a mental boot-camp. I'm sick of learning (trying to learn) bulgarian, and the other classes are getting pretty monotonous. I enjoy it, but I keep getting so tired all the time. I don't know what's wrong with me. I spent about 3 hours on friday laying down in the medical office because I couldn't stop shaking. We're getting ready for our 4th of July party! It should be a good time. I found out that the largest firework manufacturer in Bulgaria is located here in Pangyurishte, so hopefully we will have a good show. The mayor will also be attending. I don't have anymore Macedonia news, but should hear something tomorrow. If I do I will try to put it up here. Take care, I love you. Back to Journal List Home Page |
