I have been without email for the past two days and it's awful!  I know some of you have sent me emails, but I can't check it!!!  How horrible is that??

Yesterday I drove to a small town (I can't remember the name) with my host parents to pick my sisters up from school.  They are absolutely wonderful and sweet.  We had a na gosti last night into the wee hours of the morning, and then today went up to the mountains to their "villa".  It was very peaceful and relaxing, and made me sad because it reminded me of when we went to Pine.

An update on Macedonia, for any of you following the news.  The entire PC staff and volunteers have completely been evacuated due to anti-American sentiment.  I feel awful because there was a group of volunteers who were sworn in just two weeks ago.  And now, they face the possibility of having to go through another three months of grueling training - or just going home without ever having accomplished anything.  They are all staying in Bulgaria, in a small town just outside the capital.  They will remain there for 2 weeks until the group from DC decides if it is safe for them to return to their country of service, or if they will have to decide between retraining or going home.  I can't imagine what they must be feeling.

Just a quick note before I go...the Ambassador will be here on Monday to visit with us!!  Talk about contacts :).  I am off now, since I have no email.  Hopefully it will be up soon!  I love you and miss you all.
