| Today was my program site visit. Chavdar came at 10am and we had a meeting with the Director, the Vice Director, my counterpart and the two of us. It was pretty interesting to sit there while they spoke in Bulgarian, about me!! I was getting embarassed, mainly because I understood what they were talking about (i.e. how much the students like me, how much they are learing, that I'm a joy...). But I don't want to toot my own horn :). Chavdar also brought me many packages! I received two of the large envelopes from mom, dad's big box, and also a box of books for my schools' library. I can't wait to get it all home and look at it!! I know there are some exciting things in there. Thanks again everyone. I really appreciate it. Chavdar came to one of my classes, and I swear, he didn't get an accurate view on what my kids are really like. They were so quiet and attentative. Not that they usually aren't, but this time none of them would volunteer to answer questions in class like they usually do. They were so shy. Well, I have 2 of my students sitting with me today, and they are the ones that wrote me an email. I'm going to put it up eventually, but for now, I'm going to head back to the emails. I have many to respond to, I've been getting so bad. I guess that's all for now. For all of you that have been writing or emailing, keep it up!! I love getting email and letters/packages. For those of you that seem to have forgotten about me, well, I don't hold grudges!! :) Love, Sarah |
