Halloween Party.
This has been such a crazy weekend, but it was great!  It all started last friday morning at 5am, when Marisa and Chantel showed up at the train station.  We hung out at my apartment for a while, and then headed into Bourgas because they hadn't been there.  I had to buy some cheddar for the party, and we all needed stuff for our costumes!  We also headed to the beach, where is was freezing!!  But I was not surprised.  It has slowly been getting colder this past week or so. But, then again, I am the "Arizona Girl".  After getting back from Bourgas, we picked up Robert, and while walking back to my apartment, we ran into Jonas.  The five of us stayed up forever, just talking and catching up.

Saturday consisted of me going to the train station and bus station dozens of times to pick up Jake, Jay, Chris, Dave and Diane.  Marisa, Chantel and I took care of all the decorations and food, and I must admit, I couldn't have done it without them.  They were such a huge help!!  We made mexican food (chicken enchiladas, been burritos and chips and salsa) and we also made a pizza, because I knew I wouldn't be able to make enough tortillas for everyone.  I was in the kitchen from about 5pm until around 9:30 or 10pm making the fresh tortillas, and Jake and Jonas took turns at the stove helping me.

The party was a huge success, and I couldn't be happier, considering all that I did to get it together.  I ended up being the Statue of Liberty and the other costumes were pretty creative.  We had a "bathroom wall", "big Dave", "Steven", a fly, 2 cats, the "exorcist girl", a brownie and many others.  I will try to get some pictures up soon.  I think everyone had a great time, I know I did, and I even had requests to make this an annual thing--we'll see.

I guess that's all for now.  I received one of mom's packages, and should get dad's any day know.  For all of you that have been writing or emailing, keep it up!!  I love getting email and letters/packages.  For those of you that seem to have forgotten about me, well, I don't hold grudges!! :)

Love, Sarah

p.s. I have recently been asked for ideas to fill up all those packages you generously want to send to me.  Other than the usual american food ideas, I am desperately going to need long underwear (tops and bottoms) for the winter.  I hate to say it but it's already getting cold, and I'm being told by everyone that it just gets colder!  I could use a couple of scarves, one or two good kitchen knives (although I don't know how you'd ship it right now), some of those bubble envelopes (sml and lrg) so I can send home more CD's with pictures, maybe a Dave Matthews Band CD or the Great Expectations Soundtrack.  And, you can never go wrong with books, magazines, newspapers from home, anything that is written in english!  I'm going through about a book a day right now, and my supply is dwindling!!  That's all I can think of.  Love you all!!
