OK not so much an essay, but here goes... My full name is Sarah Aldridge, i do have a middle name but i don't tend 2 put that on stuff much nemore. i am currently bang in the middle of my GCSE exams (4th june 2002) and they finish on the 19th june. i am predicted fairly good grades, so hopefully i will get them.
after my exams, me and my friend rhiannon are going 2 glastonbury festival in somerset, which should be fun!
rite, the boring stuff - i was born on 10th may 1986 in basingstoke, i have 3 youner siblings that are 2 brothers and a sister they are ok i suppose. i have a mum and a dad as you might expect, and we have 2 cats and 1 rabbit. i left amery hill school (in alton, where i live) on 17th may, we had a party/dinner that was fun! i wore my long, blue dress and ppl said i looked luvley! i am starting at alton college on 9th september.
most wednesdays, i go to army cadets, along with many friends from school and others. it is great fun - we get to do target shooting, go on field exercises, and take part in sports (and do pt roughly once a month). we also go on regular camps and help out ('community service') with certain local events, like the jubilee celebrations yesterday. rite now, i am a lance corporal - got promoted afew months back a week after my friend suzy, so we get to tell younger cadets what to do and also teach lessons and generally be privaliged!
ok enough about cadets, what this website is all about is my greatest hobby, and that is music. i have many favourite bands, including Suede, Muse, Embrace, Travis, Starsailor, Feeder, Ash, Gorillaz etc etc etc, currently, i am into The Hives. yeah and i fancy at least 1 person from each of the aforementioned bands (apart from gorillaz of course, because they are cartoons!) as you can see, most of the groups i like are from the uk, apart from the hives are from sweden. i think swedish music is good when they sing in english, cos their english is very good, i have also liked andreas johnson and the cardigans. i rarely enjoy the music of other european bands, and i think i only like one band from america (blink 182) but US tv shows are much better than english ones - i watch buffy every week, and i also like friends.
god that took ages! as i havent said, but im sure is obvious, my favourite hobby is Art and drawing. i took art gcse, but im only predicted a 'c' grade. i think my pictures on this site are good, and i enjoy drawing, but i rarely finish what i start, which is probably why i am only getting a c.. oh well!
