Yes I Am
I'm not in general a very sentimental, sit around in a circle and talk about your feelings type of person.  However, I think it is important to "know thyself." For me, a big part of knowing myself came in recognizing the fact that I am gay.  Honesty speaking, if I could have chosen one way or the other, I would have chosen to be straight.  However, it wasn't a choice for me; I spent a long time trying to be straight, but it really didn't work.  Learning to accept this part of me took a long time.  Being gay is an important part of my life, and I am not about to hide that fact.
