So you aren't exactly the best at SkiFree. Ever wonder how the skier feels about it? This is the fictional diary of one such skier after a, shall I say, less than satisfactory ski trip.
11:52 AM
Started out skiing. It's my first time, but it looks so easy. Just glide on down the slope. Tried on the skis- my, they're hard to walk in- and got ready. Took a ski lift up the hill, and looked down. How am I possibly going to get down this? Well, here goes...
11:55 AM
How do the skiers do this? I went down a few feet when CRASH! my face was embedded into a tree trunk- but luckily without any major injuries. Three trees later, I thought I was doing okay, then I tripped over a rock buried into the snow and fell face-first into the snow. This is going to be harder than I thought. Much harder.
11:59 AM
I just went over a ski jump. That was the most nerve-wracking thing I had ever experienced! There I was, the inexperienced skier, minding my own business when I find myself flying in the air. I flailed around for a while and finally landed on my stomach in the snow. And the others can actually do tricks while in free-fall. Goodness.
12:03 PM
I'm finally getting the hang of this skiing stuff. Just crossed the finish line with an awful score, but hey- I only tripped over one rock since I last wrote, and no more trees. Tried a few more ski jumps too- managed to do a straddle in the air. Surprising. My friends said they'll meet me at the bottom of the hill, so I'll keep going down.
12:10 PM
How deserted this place is! I don't see any skiers here. There seem to be more trees around, and I don't see ski lifts as often. I wonder if I went left when I should have gone right- but I'll keep going anyway. I mean, they won't give skiers access to a slope leading out of the ski resort. Would they?
12:16 PM
This place gives me the creeps. It's so quiet, I can actually hear my skis slicing the snow. And I have these weird feelings that this is dangerous- as if bears or other wild animals lurk around here. I think I saw one a while ahead. Oh no! It's right in front of me! I'm heading right at it! Please, please...go faster... (At this point, the "bear" captured the skier and her diary went flying out into the snow where it was later found.)
