Introduction
Hello, and welcome to my web page! My name is Sarah and I received my teaching credential from New York. I have been working in California for the past four years as a third grade teacher. I currently teach at a charter school in the Los Angeles area. I have a Masters degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor's Degree in English and Spanish. I am working on clearing my California teaching credential this semester.
Philosophy of Education
I know that all of my children can find success in school in some way. I believe that they have the right to learn in a safe and loving environment. It is my goal to make my classroom a safe haven for children and to inspire in my students a love for learning, exploration and a strong sense of community responsibility. I use constructivist teaching methods in my classroom. These inquiry based instructional experiences help children become successful and caring members of the community.

This course teaches fundamentals in applying technology in classroom instruction. I am currently taking this course to help clear my credential. This web site was created as a requirement for completing this course. I can't wait to use some of the things that I have learned in my classroom.
