Previous Employment: Went to grad school in theoretical physics. Worked at the San Fransico coroner's office for 5 years before transfering to the San Fransico crime lab. She was then contacted by Gil Grissom ("Cool Change") to come to work at the Las Vegas Crime Lab.
Bio: Born and raised just an hour outside of San Franciso, (Tamales Bay) Sara was the only child of x-hippies, who ran a B and B. Sara had always needed a bigger stage while growing up, everything about her was outsized. Her intellgence, her energy, and her curiosity. Growing up the roles were reversed for Sara and her parents, she always had self disapline and was always told to take it easy. She was always coming up with bussiness models to help take B and B public and franchise the brand.
Sara was a pretty much nothing or all at school, kids resented her because of her talent and the fact that she wasn't gracefull about it. Things came easy to Sara, and she couldn't understand why it didn't come as easy to others. After graduating High School, Sara found a home at Harvard...she took as many classes as she could and went parties..She actually dated, okay, so she tried to date, but her one flaw got in the way: people. Sara could figure out any problem with ease, but when it comes to people and how to relate to them, she comes up empty.
Thus, is why, Sara hids in her job and pursues her career harder than any other CSI. Main reasons for this, is because she is still rebelling against her parents and their "lax" appoarch to social obligations, and the fear of what she would find out about herself if she slowed down.
Sara arrived in Vegas after the calling from Gil Grissom (her connection to him is still very much unknown). She was brought in the fill the void left by the death of Holly Gribbs (the rookie that died in the first eposide)...uh..not that hurt my feelings any..anywho back to topic....her first assignment was to investgate Warrick Brown...
("Cool Change"). At first she had a hard time getting comfortable with the people, she spent most of the first season as a kinda outcast, but she soon found her part and began to get comfortable with everyone including Catherine.
Fast Forward to Season 3:
Okay, first of all the season started out good but then a dude named Hank made his appearance...uh..don't like him.. (of course I hear we are almost rid of him)...hee! anywhoo, the tension between Sara and Grissom became very evendent....Cause Grissom hears of a "relationship" between Hank and Sara....("The Accusied is Entitled").....so the very next eposide ("Let the seller beware") he punishes her by sending her on her own case and calling her in on her day off....Well, at the end she gives a come back by stating she is "confused". But then Sara never gets any kind of replie from Gris (unlike the last time where he sent her a plant..uh..yeah, in TV land a plant solves everything) so she goes and "dates" Hanky Boy (who is a cheater)! but then we get this majorly good eposide ("Blood Lust" ) with Grissom and Sara working together (Yes, Sara looked very HOT in this eposide) anywhooo, they were very vibey and at the beginning Grissom says he was out on a date...hmmm I'm still debating that one, so back to the topic....then we get an eposide ("High and Low") Sara wasn't in but one scene...uh...anywhoo then we get what I refer too as the "crack" eposide (cause the storyline sucked and I think the writer's were on CRACK when they wrote that eposide) so on we go.......
