Fifth Executive Committee Meeting
Venue:-Oak Conference Hall, Hotel Ceylon Continental, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Minutes of the meeting:
1. Prof. A. Z. M. M. Islam, President SARAD, declared the meeting open.
2. Prof. M. A. Wadud, Secretary General of SARAD presented the annual report.
3. Treasurer, Dr. Mahesh Shah presented the financial reports.
4. Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists IADVL was admitted as new member.
5. It was confirmed that Fourth South Asian Regional Conference of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology SARCD IV would be held at New Delhi in the month of January 2005.
6. Nominees of three representatives for the next executive committee from dermatological associations/societies of Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Pakistan were read out. It was decided that those members who cannot attend the Executive Committee meetings and SARCD Conferences that the home countries should not nominate their names. Their presence of about 70% attendance is a must.
7. New registration fees for the next tenure 2004-2005 from member countries were collected.
8. Prof. S. A. H. Kazmi has been nominated as co-opted member from Pakistan.
9. Dr. Vijaya Bahadur Rajbhandari has been nominated as the local representative to deal with SAARC Secretariat.
10. SARAD President, Prof A. Z. M. Maidul Islam declared the meeting closed.

Third SARAD General Body Meeting

More than 50 members had attended the meeting. The required quorum is 25.

2. The out going Secretary General Prof.. M. A. Wadud presented the secretary's report. .
3. The out going Treasurer Dr. Mahesh Shah presented the treasurer's report. .
4. The handing over of the papers between the out going and incoming Secretary-Generals took place. .
5. The President's Medallion was garlanded on Dr. W. D. H. Perera, President SARAD by the out going President Prof. A. Z. M. Maidul Islam. This completed the total handing over of charges to the new Third Executive Committee of SARAD.
6.The meeting thanked Dr. Ganga Sirimanna President, Sri Lanka Association of Dermatologists SLAD and members of the Executive Committee & Organizing Committee of 3rd SARCD for organizing the Fifth Executive Committee Meeting of SARAD and for holding the Third SARCD Conference.
7) The meeting also thanked the President and members of the outgoing Second
Executive Committee for its conduct during the past two years.
