| How they met It was the first day back for spring semester, January 12th, 1999. I went to the cafeteria to get something to eat before class and try to do some homework. I sat at the table behind Jason. (I had seen him around campus before and I always wanted to meet him.) He turned around & I looked up, smiled but didn't say anything. He turned around again & I looked up again. I was so nervous. He finally said "What are you working on" & I said math. Of course, he was working on a math degree & knew he could help me. So we started talking, then we had to go to class. He said he would meet me after class. We went bowling that night & then he came over to my place. From that day on we haven't been apart for more than 24 hours and have become the best of friends! We found our very first apartment together in October of 1999. We lived there until August 2000 when Mary Lou purchased her house. We lived there until August 2001 when we moved to Cedar Springs. We moved back to the Lansing area in April. |
| About Sara She came into this world on December 10th, 1979. She is the daughter of Jane & Lance and Brad & Diane. She has a step sister, Mary Lou, 2 younger sisters, Laura & Emily and a brother Matt. She graduated from Charlotte High School in 1998. She attended Lansing Community College for 3 years, then transferred to Ferris State University to study Music Industry Management. The fall of 2002 she transfered back to LCC. She will be taking a break for the spring semester to have a their baby. Fall of 2003 she will receive her associates degree. She is employed at PSI, Inc. as an office administrator. | About Jason He came into this world on August 29th, 1977. He is the son of Larry & Diane. He graduated from Ionia High School in 1996. He has two brothers, Bryan & Randy and a sister Stacey. He received his associates degree in Mathematics/Physics/Pre-engineering from Lansing Community College in May of 2001. He is planning on going back to school to obtain his bachelors. He is employed at Dewitt Public Schools and Cognitive Research. He loves Star Wars. He enjoys helping others learn and sci-fi movies. Contact Jason |
| The Proposal It happened on March 2nd, 2001 in my step sister's basement where we used to live. Jason was down on both knees and he asked me if I would spend the rest of my life with him & of course I said 'yes'! |

| Making our life together! We chose a wedding date of July 27th, 2002. The main reasons were that it would leave enough time to plan the last minute things after the semester was over and also have time before the semester began in the fall to take a honeymoon. After our wedding we were planning on adding to our family, so we started trying right away and were successful the first month. We are expecting near the end of May. We are very excited and couldn't be happier!!! We are preparing for our little addition to join us. In January, Jason replaced his truck with a mini-van. We also bought a home on April 16th! Alexander Lee joined us on May 27th, 2003! He is absolutely adorable & we are so in love with him! Click here for pictures. |
