The Creed of the Civil Air Patrol Vanguard Squadron Ground Team

We are professionals.  We are the Civil Air Patrol Ground Team.  It is our duty as the Civil Air Patrol Ground Team to save lives, aid the injured, protect their property, and serve others.

We live as a team.  As a team we live.

We will be loyal to those with whom we serve; superiors, peers, and subordinates alike.  Above all we will be truthful in all we say or do.  Through professional pride, integrity, and teamwork, we shall be the example for all.  We will stay always vigilant by improving our knowledge and practicing our profession.  In the field, as in all areas of life, we shall stand tall.  We will never forget who we are or what we represent.

Our two basic responsibilities will always be uppermost in our mind--accomplishment of our mission and the welfare of our comrades.  Conquering all obstacles, both large and small, we shall never quit.  We will exercise initiative by taking appropriate action in the absence of orders.  Sacrificing personal comforts and dedicating ourselves to the completion of the mission shall be our life.  We will keep ourselves physical fit at all times.

These things we do so that others may live.
