As you walk inside you walk straight into the bar area which has a really cool, friendly, chilled-out atmosphere. There are plently of tables to sit at, and TV/VCR to watch skate/bmx videos and music to listen to. The bar serves a wide range of drinks ranging from water and soft drinks to spirits and beers. There is a massive selection of food which is the best around. It ranges from chips, pizza and garlic bread to grilled chicken sandwiches and burgers. Quite often people come to the skatepark to eat even though they don't skate! For those nice days there is a beer garden out the back on the waters edge. |

Next you walk through a passage (under the vert platform) into the skatepark itself. There is a wide range of obstacles to suit all levels from beginners to pro's (and there are some world class professionals that use the park) The vert ramp sits proudly in the corner, covered in skate-lite and is renowned for being the best vert in the country. there is a mini-ramp runing paralell to it that has a subbox on it which is the back of an 8-foot quater pipe that extends about 60% of the way across the mini ramp, there is a large volcano on the rest of it. The 8-foot quater leads into a funbox, the floor between is all one smooth surface, the landing of the funbox then leads into the vert wall. The street area behind the vert ramp at the moment contains various quaters and flatbanks lining the walls with funboxs, spines and flatboxes inbetween, there is a box rail on the big flatbox. |
