| Korde is Garbo's brother that came to live with her this year. He should be called Chorde because his claim to fame is his singing! He is a young, studly, confident boy. He is a perfect fit with Garbo because he is SO confident! My favorite story illustrating this is one night Garbo was outside and Korde was inside. Some fireworks went off and Garbo came tearing in scared to death. Korde went flying outside to see what the noise was. He stood out in the middle of that yard looking around trying to find out what was going on. With that attitude, he and Garbo have done wonderful together. They are very close and really love each other. It is quite touching to watch. Korde also gets the crazies BAD! He will get nutty and in that moment when he can't decide what to do or who to play with, he just grabs something and does anything! He wanted Mom to come out and play with him one night so when he got revved up, he grabbed the first thing he could find, the bedskirt on the bed she was sitting on, and tried to run off. He just ripped it up good. He has grabbed comforters and pillows doing this. He will also grab his big styrofoam bed and throw it up in the air. He'll start ripping it up too if Mom isn't there to stop him. He is quite popular in the family. He loves people and will go up to anyone. He is a guys' dog and has really bonded with my brother Doug. Mom had some greyhound people over a little while ago and they were all outside visiting. Korde discovered the cooler full of ice and would go out, take a piece of ice and trot back in the house. He would be in there a little while and then he would come back and repeat. I wonder what he thought when he went back to his stash of ice later and found it gone? |
