Ok.......so it's been 1 and a 1/2 months since the last update. What can I say other than school and work have prevented me from updating. I'm only updating today because it's my birthday. Today we have 2 or 3 new Random Events up. I haven't worked on the next regular episode, so you will have to wait until the next update, whenever that is. Enjoy.

Wow! We have plenty of updates this time. We have a new episode of Sapphire Comics, a new Random Event, and a new Xanatos Shorts. I know I said I would have the new episode up on Wednesday in the forums, but I haven't had a stable connection until today. I hope you enjoy this massive update, but don't expect this type very often. Also be prepared for more new characters to appear over the course of the next 5 or 6 episodes. The new items are now in bold.

We have more issues of Xanatos Shorts from Belial. The debut of Madden is still under construction. I'm still redesigning Sapphire for his minimal armor mode. I'm also designing a new armor for Sapphire. I might even make another evil counterpart for Phobos called Deimos, but that is still being decided. I'll update again when I have time.

Random Event #11 is up. I've opted to change from the .gif format to the .png format. The .gif images were distorting the colors of the comics. The contest from episode 010 is now closed. I will let you know the results of the contest. KATANA will be unveiled in the next episode of Sapphire Comics with his new name. I will also update the cast page at that point in time. Until then, enjoy the new Random Event.

Today we have a special animated episode of Sapphire Comics, again. It's Easter! This one is shorter than most. I didn't have as much time to make it as I would have liked. Please excuse any typos. As you can see, it's 2:00 AM when I updated this and assembled the comic. School has caught up and passed me. Now I'm swamped in projects. Enjoy the short Easter 2004 special. Contest for naming KATANA ends next update. The winner will be chosen when 014 hits the site. Check the forum for more details.

Today we have a special animated episode of Sapphire Comics. Check out #011. You might get another animation on Easter, but I haven't decided if I will make one for then or not, since it's only about a week away from this Sunday. Thanks to Belial for part of this animation. So far, very few entries for the contest have been received, only one that isn't the project name in acronym form, to be exact. Looks like I will do two animations in a row. this one, and then one for Easter, starring Tails and Cream. You have until episode 13 for your name entries. Either send them to me in e-mail or post them in the forum. I will contact the winner about their appearance in the comic.

Random events 10 and episode 10 of Sapphire Comics are up for your viewing pleasure. Episode 10 has a contest embedded in it. Please participate in it. I really can't think of a name for that guy. Special thanks go out to Belial of Final Funtasy for the use of his Belial Hedgehog character. Cast section will be updated soon. A fancomic is also coming soon. I have one that is under review right now. Expect it to be up by Wednesday (hopefully).
Update: The submitted comic has been approved. the 5 issues that have been submitted are now up for viewing. Another comic was submitted by a different author, but I felt it was not good enough for this site.

Random events are done sooner than I originally expected. There are four new Random Events comics. Issue #010 is still on the drawing board. I still haven't worked out the script for it. Soon I will add a cast section for Random Events. Some Characters will not have actual names. I will refer to them based off of their major characteristic, like Mr. 3 and Duck Hunt Man. Check the forums for new polls and other such goodies. Check back next week for #010 of Sapphire Comics. I should have it done by then. It will introduce new characters to the comic. Some of them have made appearances in Random Events. Stay tuned to see who these new characters are.

The fillers have been renamed to Random Events since they have the feel of a mini-comic. I might add a cast page for Random Events, but that is still a ways off from actual production. Sapphire Comics issue #009 is up today. I'm still waiting for a response from Bob and George as to weather or not my comic is worthy of the name of Fan link or not. I'm thinking of having non-custom characters appear in the comic, such as Megaman, Protoman, Roll, Dr. Light, Bass, etc. All of these custom-only comics take a while to actually pull off. Sometimes I have to make the character half-way through making the rest of the comic.

Filler 5 is ready today.
Update: #008, the first animated issue of Sapphire Comics is up. I might do more animated ones, but only on certain occasions. This one is just a test. Expect one around oh say Easter. On a side note, filler 5 is a satire of someone that I know from real life. Certain readers might know who I am portraying in it. This marks the second time that I've done a double update on the same day.

The comic is progressing faster than expected. Issue #007 is ready for viewing today. As stated yesterday, the forums are open for business. There is a poll going on to decide if you like the effects seen in #006 or not. I also added a cast section so you know who is who in the comic.

Update: The forums have been added. This will give me another way to get input from you, the readers.
