Y 2 0 0 5 Okay. I may not be going to Singapore Poly after all. It's wayyy too far away. From my house, I need approximately 1hr to reach there. Meaning, back and forth would be a tragic 2hrs of my youth per day. I may have to eliminate Ngee Ann Poly too, cos it's located at Clementi, not much difference from Singapore Poly at Dover. That leaves me with Nanyang Poly at Ang Mo Kio, Republic Poly at Queensway ( moving to Woodlands next year ) and Temasek Poly at Tampines. My parents have been persuading me to take go to Nanyang Poly for the sake of convenience. Tempting... But I think I'll decide only after I go to the Polys' open house. I have to work till late at night tomorrow as a waitress. Hope I don't drop plates onto anyone. =X Note to someone: I'm not sleeping so early!! Get it? Updated at 10.30pm on 21st January 2005... I'm back to update again! I know, I know, all your remarks will be a collated "Wow, finally!" =P I worked at Suntec Convention Centre yesterday from 2pm to 11pm, but it wasn't that all bad, I actually met lots of really nice people! My partner was a 19-year-old girl from China, Donghui, and she studies at Nanyang Poly! We were supposed to help one another, but I was so busy that I forgot to do some stuff, then she came and helped me with my tasks voluntarily. In return, I help her with the topping-up of drinks and clearing of plates. The 2nd main course was so heavy that I couldn't really carry it, so I had to stop to rest quite a few times. Another experienced Indian girl from nearby table offered to help me with it, but in the end, the captain carried my tray... =X After that, they carried the heavy stuff for me, while I carried the drinks. Meanwhile, some big, skinny Dodo was grinning at me when he realized that my table was nearby, and also because he had no guests at his table for more than an hour. So every time I walked past, he grinned at me once. Grrrrrrrrrrr...... I couldn't see Yuhui anywhere cos she was stationed at the other end of the Hall. An Indian-Eurasian guy asked me for my number, and won't allow his Indian buddy to talk to me -.-" Then he called me to let me know his no. cos I didn't ask for his. He msged me to call him, but I just told him I was busy. =P I'm not dumb. By the time everything was over, dodo and I were hungry again. So we said goodbye to Yuhui when she left for home and we went to the S11 at AMK to "ta-pao" chicken rice home to eat, but missed the last bus. So Dodo called his father to fetch us home. Anyways, going to play pool again with Dodo tomorrow. Must try to win him 6 times in a row again. =P Updated at 1.58pm on 30th January 2005... ***** |
