Appearance: Vanessa has long, dark brown hair, almost black. It's very bushy. Her skin's fair, but with a little bit of a tan. She has hazel eyes, but with brown in them too. She usually wears a light blue shirt, with blue jeans, kinda faded. She also has glasses, but thinks they make her look too nerdy, so she usually wears contacts. |

Personality: Vanessa is kind, and sometimes shy. She's fine around her friends, and sometimes can be a little hyper. But she is focused on her studies. She wants to make something of herself, even though she can barely cast a spell to save her life. She can get very defensive, especially when someone tries to say she's stupid, or implies it at the very least. She doesn't like causing trouble, and is very trusting. If someone doesn't want her to do something, or they're bothered by it, she'll stop. |

History: Vanessa doesn't have that much of a history. She went to school, like a normal kid, and has a normal family. If you call it normal. At first, they didn't even tell her she was a witch. She found out when she got her letter for school. It wasn't something she would've guessed. Her dad, the wizard, never used magic. Ever. And her mom was a thespian, a theatre woman. Why would she think about magic? All she knew was her parents argued about things sometimes, and mentioned her in hushed whispers. After she got her letter, they told her everything and she went to school. Then she came to Sapienti. |

Other: She really doesn't like her cousins, who are coming to Sapienti in her Sophmore year. She also loves to read muggle literature, and enjoys writing. |
