Appearance:

A throwback to her familys Italian heritage, Grace could be considered a poster-child for stereotypical Italian features. She has coarse dark brown (almost black) hair that she enjoys manipulating into whatever convoluted hairstyle she can manage, although when pressed for time it merely gets pulled back with a clip. Her eyes are also dark brown, framed by thin pink wire glasses. She loves bright, happy colors, and never wears anything dull or depressing unless she is forced to do so. However, there is one thing separating her from most of the other young pureblood girls- like any true Italian, she loves to eat, so while shes not quite fat, she is without a doubt what the more polite call pleasantly plump. Despite a few negative comments that have been made to her, though, the extra pounds dont make her look dumpy, just a little rounder and softer than most of her acquaintances. Shes a fan of playing most sports, and stays decently in shape despite her extra weight
Personality:

Grace is a bit of a mother hen. With three younger siblings and parents that, more often then not, left their children in the care of various nannies while working the political scene, she naturally developed a tendency to look out for first just her younger siblings, and then almost everyone she came into contact with. Spending a great deal of time in the kitchen with the cook only added to that nurturing quality. She generally doesnt have much of a temper, preferring to just shrug or agree with whoevers speaking, even if she doesnt support that opinion. And, while she is not unintelligent, Grace has almost no common sense. Unfortunately, that combination of characteristics makes it ridiculously easy for people to walk all over her, something that occurs far too often, at least with regards to her siblings. With that in mind, her chosen career into relations is perhaps not the best of plans, but she decided long ago that she was going to go ahead and follow the rest of the family into politics, certain that, somewhere, there had to be someplace in the ministry shed fit in well.
History:

Like most members of the Milada clan, a pureblood family based in Connecticut, Graces father, Matthew, works for the American Ministry of Magic, in this case in the Department of Magical Games and Sports. He, his wife, Jacqueline, and their four children, Grace, Alexander, Olivia, and Jamie, live in Hartford. Theirs is an average family for purebloods, fairly well-off, but not obscenely so, with little to no scandal (which is more than can be said for other branches of the family). In all honesty, theyre rather boring most of the time.

Grace began her education at home with private tutors that she shared with her siblings until the age of eleven. She spent the next seven years at the National Academy of Magic in Washington, D.C, where she did fairly well, graduating neither at the top nor at the bottom of her class, but at least nearer the former than latter.
