Appearance: Erika has dark brown/black, which is layered in a jagged style, much like a shag cut. She has bluish-gray eyes. She has a prominent ski-slope nose, which sits above full lips. She has a small cleft in her chin. Erika is short for her age group, standing at an even 5' and as such has a small frame. |

Personality: While Erika is extremely intelligent, she is a smart mouth through and through. She has no problem coming up with some little sarcastic quip that leaves the other person feeling foolish if provoked, and sometimes not. She's also not the person that one wants on their bad side for she will exact revenge by exposing dark deeds about the person. While she can be a nice person to those she cares about, which are few and far between, Erika tends to continue to isolate herself. This has the potential to land her in hot water. |

History: The product of a pureblood father, Devyn, and a muggleborn mother, Lana, Erika was born and raised in New York City. When she was twelve, her auror, father, was killed, ironically by a muggle weapon. Dressed as a muggle, her father had been tailing a dark wizard. The dark wizard suspecting that he was being followed, headed into a heavily populated muggle territory and drew his wand. Given no choice, Devyn drew his own wand. A nearby inexperienced and now freaked out police officer, who had been on street duty, pulled his gun and ordered them to cease and desist. Neither wizard heeding the officer. After a few back and forth spells, the dark wizard got the upper hand by knocking away the auror's wand. Before he could get up and call for his wand, the officer, trained, yet still panicked, shot and killed her father. The officer had also made an attempt at the dark wizard, Gadin Destre, but the end result was his own death. The dark wizard then caused an explosion, causing several muggle deaths, and a nice distraction for him to escape into the sewers. His current whereabouts are unknown, however, Erika has ever intention of finding him. Her mother work in the Department of Magical Law enforcement. Since her husband's death, she has pushed for aurors to have more training in relation to muggles and to be better equipped. Erika attended a small, private wizarding school for standard schooling. She started out as a shy girl, mostly a loner. After her father's death, she was still a longer, however, her personality developed to one more no caring what others think and having no qualms about speaking out. This has also resulted in her being rather cynical and under the belief that everyone has some personal agenda. Also, as a result of the death, she is determined to become an auror and see Destre brought to justice. In order to accomplish her goal, she is incredibly driven to excel in the necessary fields for being an auror, so much so that she goes beyond the standard learning to experimenting to find newer, and better, techniques. |
