Appearance: Barty is about 6'1 and slightly on the lean side. Although, age has given him a slight pouch about his belly, but it isn't noticeable unless he isn't wearing a shirt (and no one should be seeing him without a shirt on.) His hair is on the longer side (trying to be hip with the newer hair styles) with whisps of grey and white mixed in with his natural dirty blonde. His face is lined with age, but Barty appears younger than he truly is. Nose a bit long for his face, eyes a nice hazel color, and a smile that lights up his face, Barty can be easy on the eyes. |

Personality: Don�t think that just because Barty is a friendly guy that he�ll let anyone walk over him. He is assertive in his work and accomplishes what he must in order to feel as though he has a reason to smile at the end of the day. Though he doesn�t like to raise his voice or be perceived as aggressive or domineering, Barty will do as he must to keep the school running with the same standards it had when it was first opened. |

History: Barty was born and raised in Dover Delaware with his muggle parents, Joseph and Iris Livingston. He, like many others, believed magic to be something of fairytales until he received his letter of acceptance from a Magical School. It was his seven years in school where Barty developed his fondness for plants and where he decided to major in Herbology. It wasn't until he went to college did he realize that he wanted to become a professor. During college, Barty met Roseanne, and fell in love with her almost immediately. They were married shortly after they left college, but their marriage didn't last for very long. They both had different goals, her's included traveling the world, while his had him settled near a school to teach. After three years of trying to make it work, they both decided in the end that they were just too different to really be together. Years of teaching at Muggle schools and Magical Academies, Barty accepted a position at Sapienti University. Now at the age of 59, Barty is the Headmaster of this wonderful University. |

Experience: Barty's first teaching experience was at a local Muggle High School in his hometown of Dover Delaware. After working there for six years, Barty moved on to work at a Magical school in Florida. He only worked there for a total of two years when he was offered a job working as the Herbology Professer here at Sapienti University. He remained as Herbology Professor for twenty years before being asked to step up as Headmaster when his predecessor retired. He has been the Headmaster of Sapienti for ten years. |
