Appearance: Chase has short dark blonde/light brown hair that remains short as Chase doesn't really like to deal with it. His eyes are a fantastic blue/green, but usually have a fierce look to them due to the fact that Chase isn't necessarily the most open of individuals. He keeps himself in shape, always had because he never knows when he has to defend himself. After years of constant vigilance on his own body, Chase loves to work out. He doesn't do it for the looks, but as a way of calming himself. As a result, well... the ladies don't seem to complain. |

Personality: Growing up on the wrong side of Philidelphia, Chase has always had to be the 'tough guy'. His parents were poor and so, Chase has learned to be an adult since a very young age. Not that he tries to hold it against his parents. He doesn't talk much, but not because he is shy, but rather due to the fact that he just doesn't have much to say. He works hard at keeping himself closed off from others, unable to open up or trust them. It's the wall he built for himself to keep himself from getting hurt. If (and it's a big 'if') Chase does allow himself to become close with someone, he likes to have a good time. He isn't the easiest of people to get along with, but he does try to make his friends happy. His parents taught him that friends and family are everything, so, he reminds himself of that when he feels that they are too stifling. He keeps himself busy by either going to the gym or by working on one project or another (usually dealing with cars, or, if at school, plants). It's not because he's necessarily a busybody, but rather, because he feels if he isn't doing something productive, he'll end up getting himself into some sort of trouble. |

History: His father is a mechanic and taught Chase everything he knew about cars, while his mother was a less than successful muggleborn. The two of them met by completely chance and married after two years of dating. It wasn't until sometime after Chase was born that his father became distant and his mother started drinking. No one ever talks about it, but it's taken a great toll on Chase and how he sees family dynamics. Neither communicate with their extended family, so Chase knows little about his families history. And, to be frank, could care less about it. His parents didn't think there was an ounce of magic in their son until he received his letter to attend magical school. Both were estatic, Chase wasn't. He didn't want to be in a world of magic. He liked doing things the hard way. He liked the feeling of accomplishment he always got when he worked with his hands. Chase had planned on taking over his father's mechanic business after he left school, but when he got accepted into University, his mother wouldn't hear the end of it. She wanted her son to become something more than she ever was. So, with his mother on his mind, Chase set off for college. He still wants to work with his hands, but because they don't have a shop class, Chase decided to go for plants. He has to learn to be more patient with his progress with the plants than he necessarily would be with a car engine, but Chase finds his time in a greenhouse soothing. Not that he'll ever admit to that. He also discovered something new about himself. Chase actually wants to know a bit on how the Magical world works. He's become interested in the Political side of things. |
