Appearance: Anna is fairly on the thin size. She's not unhealthy, just born to be small. She has long brown hair, which curls at the ends. If it were short, it would be curly, making it a good reason to wear it long. Her most noticeable feature are her green eyes, but they tend to hidden, as she keeps her head down to avoid attracting any attention. Her clothes are another point of this. She wears jeans and nondescript shirts and when she has to wear robes, they are plain black. |

Personality: Anna is a rather quiet, somewhat clumsy girl. Her head can often be found in a book and she prefers to keep to herself for the most part, being mistrustful of others, however, she has been fortunate enough to find a couple of friends despite this. Nervous should be Anna's middle name since it's the emotion that she experiences quite a bit. When she is, she has the tendency to fidget, and as a defense mechanism, to joke, though, the joking comes regardless. Aside from books and joking, she has an interest in art and a soft spot for animals. |

History: When Anna was very young, her father left her and her mother to fend for themselves. She doesn't remember much about him except for small things like the way he used to sing to her before bed. During most of her childhood, her mother continued to move them around for reasons that Anna didn't understand at the time. All she knew was that every time it seemed she had made a friend, she had to say goodbye. The reasons became clearer when Anna received her letter to attend magical school. Early on, she became a target, because of her last name and she soon learned what her father had been involved in and why her mother detested magic despite having gone to school herself. With a father that was more of the well-known dark wizards, those into the dark arts thought that Anna could provide a connection and those that weren't didn't want the likes of her in their school, so Anna found herself ousted from either side, because she couldn't do anything for the dark arts kids and those that she wanted to associate with wouldn't associate with her. Thankfully, after one of the targeted incidents, her roommate, Kara had taken pity on her. After a bit of conversation, they realized they actually had quite a lot in common and became fast friends for the next years of schooling, but even so, Anna remained a loner since Kara's other friends wouldn't give her a chance. Since then, Anna's mother finally stopped moving around when she realized that by this point in time, her estranged husband wasn't going to come after them. She still chooses to live in the muggle world rather than the magical to the point that even though she allowed Anna to go to magical standard and university, she doesn't tolerate her daughter using magic around the house. Anna's just happy to finally have an actual home despite how tiny it is. Her bedroom is practically the size of a closet, but its home. |
