Appearance: Avery has brawny features, a strong jaw and deep blue eyes. His chestnut brown hair looks scruffy, like he just rolled out of bed, which goes along with his perpetual five o�clock shadow. He has a sturdy frame coming from years of working out and towers over most at 6�, 4�. Running is his escape and he often does so just to get away for a while. He has fairly tanned skin after spending a year traveling, though he�s originally from Boston. Usually found in jeans and t-shirt or sweater, Avery dresses casually so as not to attract too much attention, however his good looks typically do anyway. |

Personality: Avery has very rough social skills, even after taking a year off after his conclusion of school. He�s never really been a social butterfly, but always makes a few friends, even though he was considered a �renegade� in his last school. His lack of communication skills usually come off as cool indifference, which doesn�t really bother him. He doesn�t want to be the center of attention, nor does he really want to get attached to anybody. He�s rather smart, though tends not to apply himself, unless needed. He�s coming back to school after his travels to ground himself and see if he can settle down a bit. |

History: He is the sole product of a single witch getting involved in an affair with a married muggle businessman. Once his father found out Avery�s mother, Beatrice, was pregnant he left them both, ending the affair and leaving Bea to raise her son alone. Avery never minded, until his mother became ill in his second to last year of school. With no extended family to help out and no idea as to who his father is, Avery assumed responsibility and despite his best efforts, Bea passed away just after he graduated. With little to hold him to Boston and nothing keeping him at his previous school, he took the year to travel, working his way around the world to help rid himself of the sadness. Now back in the states, he wants to prove to himself that he�s worth something. He saved all of his mother�s money and the suspicious checks she used to ge! t, in his bank vault, which is letting him attend school. His only prized possessions are his motorcycle, which he keeps in a muggle storage locker in Boston and his Martin acoustic guitar that he takes everywhere with him. |
