Appearance:

The first thing most people notice about Aeron is her hair, and then probably her height. Standing only 4'10" she looks far too small to be of age.

Her hair is long, reaching down past her waist and hips and sometimes when she lets it loose it's like a golden wavy cloud around her. Her eyes are a blue that borders on both violet and gray and tends to fluctuate between the two colors. She moves with the grace of a born dancer, and she is, having been dancing and singing since she knew how to walk and talk.
Personality:

Aeronwyn as always been sort of like a split personality. There is her faire self, the one who laughs and jokes and does tricks, and draws attention to herself, in hopes of getting paid, or finding an easy mark to steal from. And then there is the quiet studious girl she became when she went to school. Unsure of where she fit in and not understanding the world she had suddenly be thrust into.

Lately the two have been mixing more and more and she's coming into her own. She still watches people, but is more likely to speak up, and speak her mind.
History:

My father came from the Lovari clan, my mother from Cale' Gypsies. It is obvious to any who know Romani culture that my father's clan is the more prestigious. I don't remember my mother at all, she died when I was born, five years later, my father married Issadore Wajs. Until I was ten, I couldn't read and write. I wanted to read and write so badly, but my family did not understand nor care for my yearnings. My father was a drunk and a gambler, and my stepmother had no idea what literacy was or that a child must learn. So how did I learn? I asked children who went to school to show me how to write letters. I always stole something, candy or toys, and brought it to them so they would teach me, and so I learned a b c d, and so on.

Not far from where our Kumpania camped there lived a Jewish shopkeeper. I stole a chicken and took it to her, and she taught me how to read in return. And then I began to read various books and newspapers. I'm very proud of my knowledge, even if I didn't get it in school. But life gave me education and knowledge. I read and Gypsies laughed at me for that and they spat at me. They gossiped about me and, in defiance, I would read more and more. How many times did I cry, but just the same I kept on doing what I wanted. I enrolled in the library and borrowed any books I could lay my hands on because I didn't know what was good and what wasn't. I asked my family to enroll me in school, but they couldn't have been less interested.

When I was eleven, the world came crashing down around my ears. It began when an owl delivered a letter to my father's wagon. They wouldn't let me touch it because an owl had delivered it and they were certain it was a dark omen. It took me 2 months to find out I was a witch. I began to wonder how many of us Romani are, but because we place no purpose in Gajin education, can never understand the importance of the letters. Maybe some day I'll look into it. Perhaps I can break my people free of some of the superstition they dwell in. I entered Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw, which once I understood the house made sense. With the exception of the summer holidays I lived at the school or at the church where I had been born. My father's kumpania would return every year in the summer and we would travel as we were meant to do. I enjoyed school but missed the comraderie of my family, even if they do not understand me, I am proud to be apart of them. We are artists, my family, Harpists, and jewelers, musicians and Painters, dukkerers and seers. I have made my living selling my art, my music, and my lies.
Other:

Aeronwyn is a Romani gypsy. She was born in the Kumpania, and until the age of 11 had every intention of dying there. Being Rom was all she knew. After leaving secondary school and choosing the wizarding world over the Kumpania and the marriage her father had wanted her to make she decided to leave Europe and Applied and was accepted to SUM.

There are a few interesting traits about her. Due to her mother's attack, she was mauled by a werewolf, and this brought on her labor, which she did not survive but Aeron did... Her senses are heightened, mostly her smell and hearing, and she has some slight wolfish characteristics, like a love of rare meat... and a few other traits she tries to hide.
