Appearance: Dei is a tall thin girl who's startling white blond hair and crystal blue eyes tend to draw attention when ever she goes out. She is a quiet person but not shy, she only speaks when she has something to say. When she does open her mouth her wit is acidic and her mind quick. She's has a certain sense of loyalty ...well if she likes you that is. |

Personality: Dei is the sort of person who is noticed for her looks and immediately thought a complete idiot. This however is far from true. Quick witted, and sharp tongued, she can cut a person to ribbons and leave them thanking her for the favor. She has a quirky sense of humor, and seems to be completely comfortable in her own skin. |

History: Dei's father Leonato Araki moved from Northern Italy to Canada after the fall of Grindlewald, whom he had whole heartedly supported. He married Antonella Messina the daughter a old wizarding family from Sicily. They had one son Paulo, now called Paul. Leonato made his living as a professor for the local Wizarding college teaching Charms. When Paulo was 11 and had been sent off to School he received a letter from his mother saying his father had left them near penniless for another woman, and one of his own students. Her name was Astrid Jarlsdottir and she was barely 19, only 8 years older than his son. The following two years later Dei was born, taking the life of her mother in the process. Leonato was inconsolable, for he had truly loved his wife. Over the course of the next few years Dei grew, and as she was like a carbon copy of her mother, from her white blonde hair and pale skin to her deep cerulean blue eyes, he cherished her more than anything on the earth. Leonato kept her close, even refusing to let her board with the other students when she started school. When she was 13 Leonato died in a mysterious accident, and due to Wizarding Law as the eldest sibling and only male, Paulo inherited everything. Paulo, now 26 was a bitter man who hated his little half sister, seeing her as the embodiment of the reason his father had set his mother aside. Dei on the other hand worshiped her brother, and his harsh treatment of her when she needed love the most nearly destroyed her. So she tried to find love on her own. Even at 13 she was a beautiful girl, tall and thin, her hair and eyes and the intelligence within her seemed to draw people too her much like her mother had. Dei became prey to every man who smiled at her. When she was 15 she was kicked out of school after being found naked in the rain with her Potions teacher. A new school was found and a year later she was given the option of graduating early or being expelled after her 6 month long relationship with the Arithmancy Instructor was brought to the light. So at 16. free from the confines of going to school she took the money her father had left her and decided to travel the world a bit. she headed for Asia, spending a year in Thailand studying the people and the history, and getting her first tattoo, a tribal symbol of strength just under her shoulder blades. Another year in Australia studying charms with a master she had met in Thailand... but when that relationship died and her money ran out she was forced to return to the house that was no longer her home. Paulo and his wife Victoria made it fairly clear that she was not welcome in the house... and Paulo offered to pay to send her to school, so she accepted the invitation to Sapienti. |
