Giada has thick dark hair like her mother, which she likes to play around with a lot, and the blue gray eyes of her father. She is small and thin almost delicate, in appearance, but that appearance is belied by the sharp look in her eyes.
Personality:

Gia's experience in life has been limited, up until she ran away she lived a fairly sheltered life, if any pureblood can be sheltered. Not from the realities of the world but from the world it's self. She is incrediablly intelligent, she forgets nothing she has seen, heard, or read. She soaks up information like a sponge. She is witty, and sarcastic, very proud but also very quiet. She prefers her own company, and that of her books to most people. She has a bit of a dark side, who wouldn't if you grew up with her father, but it tends not to show.
History:

Giada's father, Antonio Giuseppe Medici, is the head of the Medici clan, long since left the muggle world to it's own devices this powerful Florentine family has stayed out of the limelight. While still purebloods they have gotten into the habit of marrying foreign witches and wizards to keep the blood line strong. Given the history of the Medici family, it should not be surprising that they adore the muggle world. Finding it a fascinating source of amusement. Giada is the heir of her family, and her husband will inherit the entire fortune.

Giada's mother is Chandra Kapoor, of India. A long standing noble wizarding family. They have very little to do with most Europeans preferring to stick to the ways they are comfortable with.

She has two sisters Kiran, and Alessandra who are both only 10. Her Fathers sister, the perfect Alessandra for whom one of Giada's sisters is named, married Cesare de' Borgia, and Giada's cousin Melina is their only child. The other sister, is named for Giada's mother's favorite cousin... who happens to work at Sapienti as a teacher and Librarian.

Giada has never attended any other school as her father thought that school would fill her head with too many ideas inappropriate to his heir. His belief being that women should not be educated at all. Years of Mental and emotional abuse in the form of neglect and degradation left Gia completely isolated from the outside world. Finally she could take it no longer and rebelled against her father and ran away to muggle Milan, where she spent the summer before going to Scotland for school. To learn as she always wanted to do, but was never allowed. Unfortunately her very first boyfriend turned out to be a bit of a sociopath, and began to stalk her, and she ran again. This time to America and Sapienti.
