Other: Mother of eleven children, soultwined to a man of great power and ruler of a realm somewhat like that of her own, Saphire is a woman of strong will, very stubborn when it comes to losing those she loves or holds dear. She has a black mare with a silver star on her forehead, silver feathers around her hooves, silver hooves, and a silver mane and tail. She rules the kingdom her grandparents left her after their untimely death, though until a few years ago, she had stayed away from the ruined kingdom, not wanting to accept her heritage yet.

Still blaming herself for the tragedy that befall herself and her home village when she was younger, Saphire sometimes dreams at night of the screams of terror and pain, the cries for mercy, and the begging for their lives the people she had grown up with and her own family must have asked of from their murderer, as well as her own torture by his hands on her seventeen birthday when she had left her village and realm for a few minutes to be alone by herself and think of her betrothal that had been arranged by her mothers grandparents and the birth of her brothers son, the very birth she had assisted the mother in, being the only thing closest to a midwife nearby.

Having fallen asleep by mistake, she woke up late and began to move as quickly as she could to the portal back to her realm, stopping half way when she sensed she was being followed. Crouching down and preparing herself for when her follower chose to attack or make himself fully known to her now since even a blind man could see she knew they was there, she spun and almost stabbed the vampire when he touched her, only to have her dagger wrenched from her grasp and thrown into the ground as she was dragged against him, fighting as much as she could while his fangs sank into her neck and began to drain her of her life force, slowly lowering her still struggling body to the ground with him.

Once every drop had been sucked from her body, he then bit into his own wrist and tried to make her drink his blood, getting surprised when the dying human woman continued to fight him even then, wanting death instead of what he was offering her: Immortality. Smirking, the vampire then began to touch her body, somehow getting hold of her dagger again and cutting her dress from her body, causing her to gasp and giving him long enough to hold his bleeding wrist to her mouth, forcing her to drink his blood as he raped her body.

Though the vampire knew he shouldve killed Saphire because he had Forced her to Turn and knew that being an Ancient and one of the First Ones among his kind, the power he had given her as well as the power she had buried in her from before made her extremely dangerous to everyone, especially him, he could not do such a thing. Each time he tried, something stopped him. Instead, he trained her to use her new found powers and the ones she had before as they began to surface. And when she began to regain her strength, he would rape, beat and feed from her to keep her from trying to run away.

The whole time, Saphire continued to fight, refusing to feed at all, till one night, she went into a bloodlust and killed practically a whole army, drinking all of their blood but one man who somehow got away, though no one knows if she let him go or if he got away on his own even to this day. After her bloodlust feeding frenzy, she fell into a coma, sleeping for two weeks before the vampire, his name being Damien, or so he had told her, woke her and began to rape her before training her harder than he had before. Though she kept a secret from him. She had finally learned how to mask part of her strength from him and as the day passed, her knowledge of how to conceal how much power she had at the time increased before she finally was able to escape one night while he was gone, running from that realm and to her own.

When Saphire had returned, her worried parents, brother and sister-in-law immediately rushed to her, comforting her and trying to find out what had happened that she had just disappeared like that. As soon as she had been herded back into her parents house and into her room, she broke down; crying her blood tears as any vampire would, telling them everything. Shocked as they were, her parents and brother had no problem accepting what she had become, just glad to have her back, though her five sisters scorned her even more than they had before. Her sister-in-law just worried about her, being in truth the goddess Gaia.

Saphire, having been Turned by one so closely linked to the First, was able to walk into the sunlight with no problem and was immune to holy water, silver and churches so it was easy for her to return to her life from before on the most part. Though when she fed now, she did so from animals, namely rabbits that her brother began to raise for her to do so. He and his wife also gave her the present they had been ready to give her at the celebration for her birthday, a sword with a silver hilt with a sapphire in the pommel, and a blue crystalline blade of some sort that her brother had made for her, having gotten the sapphire from Saphire, whom in turn had been given it as a gift.

Upon hearing of her return, her grandparents tried their hardest to get Saphire to go and see her betrothed, since she had been gone when he had come for her the day after her seventeenth birthday only to find her missing, though she refused and told them she had no wish to marry him or anyone else at the time. Though Saphire ended up angering her grandfather when she said this, her grandmother understood and was able to calm him down and he began to look at her as something other than a way to gain more power, he began to look at her as a living being with a mind of its own, as his granddaughter and named her his heir, even when he knew what she had become and that she only wanted to help people as she could, being a sort of midwife.

Saphire was happily left alone by Damien for five years before he finally found the realm she had disappeared to, and when he finally found her village and family, she had been away, visiting an old centaur friend of hers. When she returned the next day, it was to find her village still burning with everyones blood coloring the ground and trees and to see the broken and battered bodies of her dying parents and brother. Rushing to them and trying to do what she could to save them, they told her of what had happened, how they had been left last to endure the horrors of seeing their friends and loved ones killed before them. When she asked her brother of his wife and children, he told her his wife had been called away by Chronos, the god of time, though he had told her to leave her children behind, all three that she had had during the time from Saphires disappearance to the attack on their village.

At this point, the three members of her family she cared most about began to slip closer to death and she tried to convince them to let her Turn them. They refused and instead, gave her their souls when they died, awakening all of her powers though she had wouldnt realize it for a while. Right after she felt their souls enter her body, she felt a change come over her, and for the first time while she was awake, she felt a dragon whom had comforted her in her dreams with her seconds before Damien tackled her, pinning her as he growled and insults poured from his mouth as he began to tear at the clothes on her body, telling her what he was going to do to her before he killed her, calling her a bitch for tricking him, for hiding that she could become an Ancient like him like she had done just now. Being too upset to care, she closed her eyes and willed death to come to her before she felt something crash into the vampire and throw him from her, making her open her eyes as a black cloak was thrown around her shoulders to cover nudeness while she stood, looking into blue eyes of someone she had never seen before, someone who so clearly towered over her and anyone else she had ever met and was obviously not human. He told her to take her weapon and leave before turning to fight with Damien as she ran, her blood tears blinding her flight.

During the years after that, Saphire slipped in and out of sanity, sometimes turning into a bloodthirsty monster, sometimes just a empty shell of who she had once been, and then others, she was exactly as she had been, a kind hearted person out to help those in desperate need as she saw fit. At one point though, the loneliness for her brother and parents became too much and she sought out Gaia, finding the goddess easily.

Knowing that the goddess of nature missed her brother as much as she did, Saphire told Gaia of her plan to bring her brother back for at the most, five years, while she went into a sort of coma so he could live off her life force though she would need help in finding a safe place to sleep and in keeping her alive. Gaia agreed and even aided Saphire in bringing back her brother so the young woman would not exhaust herself. During that five years that Saphire slept, the chaos inside of her soul began to stir, taking control so when she finally woke, she was once again a bloodthirsty, crazed lunatic who killed for pleasure. Gaia finally was able to calm Saphire down after twenty years of fighting to find her and Saphire sunk into a depression until she was introduced to her niece that her brother had left with the goddess when he died after the five years.

After that, Saphire began to wander here and there again, beginning to think after so long of who that man was that had saved her from Damien and what had happened to them both, though her thoughts mainly were on the tall stranger who had saved her with silver hair.

After she turned three thousand, Saphire finally went back to her realm, finding her grandparents castle easily. Exploring within the ruins of the once beautiful white palace, Saphire was horrified at the corpses and the blood that covered the inside. As well as the ghosts that rushed to her as soon as she entered, moaning their sad tales of their deaths and regrets to her. She listened to them as she walked around, surprised to find that the only room that had remained undestroyed and untouched by Damiens rage was her own. Walking to the throne room now, she gasped and bit her bottom lip at the sight there, blood tears swimming in her eyes, turning them a dark reddish purple as she held them back. Her grandfathers bones were impaled on his once ivory throne, now covered in red and orange stains from his blood, his crown still on his head. His neck had been broken as had every bone in his body, giving her more than enough evidence that he had suffered worse than any of them before his death. Her grandmother laid on the floor, the dress in shreds and covered in blood nearby. A single tear slipping down her cheek now, she realized that Damien must have shoved the spear through her grandfathers stomach and the back of his throne, leaving him helpless to watch as he then tortured and raped her grandmother.

As the tears began to flow freely now, Saphire jumped to her feet and spun around at a slight yet extremely cold touch on her shoulder, looking into the empty eyes of the two ghosts that lingered in that room. Falling to her knees, she cried as they talked to her, told her of what happened and of what they wished of her. She told them she couldnt, she hated titles, she hadnt being anything but normal and ran from the castle, her blood tears falling as she did, mingling into the blood that had been spilled by Damien.

After a while, Saphire stumbled onto a cave near the castle where a dragon had been said to live, a childs bedtime story people had said, though she had always felt it true, having sensed something sleeping inside. Wiping her face with the sleeve to her sweater she had been wearing at the time, she walked in there, feeling before she heard something stir before she found herself staring into the eyes of the very dragon that had come to her in her dreams. The two embraced as the dragoness let her cry on her, comforting her as well as she could before Saphire stopped and fell asleep, not waking for two weeks.

When she woke, the two talked and discovered that they were the same being but in two separate bodies, something that was not supposed to be possible since Saphire was indeed a weredragon. Saphire gained something more than a friend in the dragoness as well as learning her name as Ice, taking on a new name of sorts to included Ices as she was supposed to.

For many more years, Saphire stayed with Ice, rescuing and raising various different sorts of beings from different situations, training them and giving them different jobs to take care of in her realm. The whole time as well, Ice taught Saphire how to control and use her own powers, helping Saphire grow into her title of Goddess of that realm like she had been meant to.

Saphire soon became restless again though and left her realm, searching for her village once again. Being unable to find it, she went to another realm, wandering again until one day, she met someone who looked vaguely familiar to her in a tavern, though try as she might she wasnt able to place where she knew him from. Over the next few days, they became friends and slowly started to develop feelings for each other, though it wasnt allowed since he was married at the time.

After a few years had passed after he had disappeared though, she met up with him again and though he did not remember her, she did remember when they first met and the first three days of their friendship. They chatted idly for a bit and when he tenderly offered to become a traveling companion as well as a fireside companion to keep her warm during the nights, she had smiled and teasingly questioned his motives, only to discover that if she would allow, he would indeed become more than that. They somehow feel in love and in a silent, mutual agreement, got together that night, getting married within a few weeks.

A year later, their first son was born and after that, where it had been hard for Saphire to conceive before, it was easy for her to get pregnant with Drake. Though as the years went by, there were a few times when she and Drake had arguments and separated. Together again, they find that there are many more things that they have left to face.

During their time together, they have been through many trials. Damiens constant return to try to regain Saphire though eventually Drake finally did kill him, making sure the Ancient Vampire could never come back this time, Saphires disappearance for a few months when she had gone to check out a lead about where her village was, the revival of her parents souls for an hour so that Saphire could see them again and they could meet the man their daughter had chosen to spend the rest of her life with, the rebuilding of her grandfathers once proud kingdom as well as the many wars and assassination attempts on Drake, and the last one, where Saphire had to literately convince Drake to fight for his life as he lay dying from a blow he had received from his father in the last war within BlackDragon.

Saphire has now begun to realize where she first had met Drake, though she is concerned about what he will say if she tried to tell him that she was that village maiden he saved from a certain vampire so many years ago, in the blood splattered remains of her parents once proud house. Something she soon realized she had naught to worry about when she did indeed tell him one day, finding out instead that Drake and Damien had problems that went all the way to before Saphire had been kidnapped by the Ancient Vampire.

Having just given birth to twin boys, both born with their fangs when they honestly shouldnt have been and seeming to have enjoyed the fact that they tore their mothers womb apart, even if it was healed, Saphire and Drake decided to wait a while before going for another son to fulfill Drakes promise to Caden, having as many boys are there are girls in the family. After that, Saphire plans on re-invoking spells she had placed on herself keep her from having children, spells she had taken off after she and Drake had first made love. That way, she knows for a fact that if they wish to have children again in the far future, they will only have about a years delay like they did with Caden.

For a few months after the birth of the twin boys though, Drake kept Saphire chained to the bed so she would be able to heal fully since everyone knew that had she been anything but what she was, Saphire wouldve died in childbirth. After finally convincing Drake that she was fine, despite the teasing voices of the two boys within her head, he finally undid her bonds though he told her it was his fault they had been born as strong as they were, all of his training he had been doing having left him with extra power that had no where to go but to the twins when they were conceived. Saphire, understanding what he was saying, informed Drake that it wasnt fully his fault so he needed to stop beating himself up. After that, it was agreed that a couple of rings like the one Drake wore would be made for the boys so the power would not control them so that Saphire would be allowed near them without them trying to kill her.

Still being depressed and convinced that she was a bad mother, Drake ended up making love to Saphire to cheer her up, not caring if she got pregnant when she informed him she couldnt put her spells up just yet and he said he understood, they would just have to work on finishing the promise after the twins were old enough. As they lay cuddled up to each other in the aftermath, Saphire told Drake of how she wished to bring her older brother, Jakeilrc Denovia, back to life for Gaia, since her sister-in-law still pined after him. Before Drake could make a comment about what his wife said though, Saphire fell asleep. In the morning when he woke up, he accidentally woke her up with his thinking. When questioning him about his thoughts, Drake told her he had been thinking of what she had said last night. Finding out that Jakeis soul was held within Saphires body, Drake told her it was possible for them to bring him back, all he needed was for her to show him where her brother had died at. At that, Saphire demanded Drake to give her the twins to breast feed before her breasts exploded, like they felt like doing. Pausing as he got dressed, he handed the two boys to her, watching as a load of tension obviously left her, telling her that the rings on the two could not be removed till they were five. She agreed and while she nursed the boys, told him to hand her the pack she had put in the back of their closet and told him not to touch before. Drake did as was told and after Saphire handed the twins back to him, she pulled a strange, long flowing type of dress out of the pack and pulled it on, the dress fitting her quite well though it was obvious it had been a long time since she had last worn it. After that, he teleported to her village where she led him to where her brothers body was buried. Pulling the soul out of Saphires body and then handing it to her, Drake then focused his energy through her as she used her healing powers to rebuild her brothers body, using some of her powers as well to make him part god so he wouldnt die on Gaia again. After her brothers soul was replaced within his body, Jakei almost flipped out from the confusion of everything, though he recognized Saphire easy enough. She then shared her memories with him so he could catch up with everything. After that, Gaia was called and the two were left to catch up as Saphire and Drake went home so she could regain her lost strength, though she still denies to Drake that the spell didn't take as much out of her as it did.

Now, after the birth of her twelfth child, Saphire now looks at Drake as being completely dead to her, especially since he has betrayed and left her for the last time now. Alone, she raises her baby son, hoping to hold off the darkness trying to claim the remains of her soul once again. Afterwards, once her son can be taken care of by one of her other children, if she can no longer control the darkness, she will go into a deep sleep... Never to awaken again.

Now though, it would seem that she has been given a reason to go on. Having a new husband, a black panther anthro by the name of Shadow, Saphire began to revert to her normal self, Damien forever gone from her mind and soul. Soon after everything was settled, she gave birth to a baby daughter now.

( As close as I could find of a pic to Saphire's sword )
