| | Biography Vibol was born
on February 10, 1979 in Pongro Commune, Chhlong District, Kratie
province. He has one brother and one sister. He is the oldest child in his family. His
brother is currently a High School student in
Chhlong district. His sister got married in
1999.
He attended the Royal University of
Agriculture in 1996 and graduated in
Agricultural Engineering in 2001. In 2002, he
was awarded to study in master degree program in
Environmental Technology at the Joint Graduate
School of Energy and Environment at King
Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi
campus, Bangkok, Thailand. He is then currently
a student at the JGSEE.
Until recently, Vibol has attended several
training courses which include some interesting
training courses as follow. From July 1998 to
July 1999, he attended the Management Course at
the Institute for Development of Education and
Agriculture. From 2000 to 2002, he also attended
the General English Course at the Australian
Center for Education Cambodia (ACE). From
November 2003 to February 2004, as the
requirement of the JGSEE, he attended the
Foundation English for International Program at
the School of Liberal Arts of the King Mongkut's
University of Technology Thonburi, Bangkok,
Thailand.
From January to July 2000, Vibol worked as a
part-time researcher at the EMT (Micro-Finance
Institute) at which he was responsible for data
collection on credit in Sihanouk Ville.
Furthermore, from July 2000 to October 2002, he
worked for the Service of Water Resources and
Meteorology in Kampong Speu as a volunteer staff
at which he an assistant to the Head of Service
of Water Resources and Meteorology.
Beside his research, Vibol is
interesting in playing many kinds of sports such
as volley ball, table tennis...etc. He also
likes to watch TV and read newspapers,
magazines, books.
