MIDNIGHT ILLUSION

Everyone halted in their actions in the serene dining hall as the man known as Ran Fujimiya stepped closer. Keax was the first to make a reaction as she whooped, leaped out of her chair and hugged Ran tightly.

Tsuzuki spared a moment away from his food as he smiled warmly, "Hey, Ran-kun! Welcome to your new abode!" Fila waved happily, "I suppose you know me, Tsu, Keax and Jin-kun already...after all, we met you in Germany a month ago before ne? With Yue and Jigs."

Ran cracked a small smile as he returned the hug and greetings he received. Jin managed a friendly smile as Ran took a seat beside him, facing Fujima. ('coz Sendoh was beside Tsu ne...)

Keax introduced accordingly, "We have 2 guests this time, as you already know about the way our Mansion 'operates'...ahem ahem...this is Fujima Kenji, an acclaimed basketball player from the Shoyo district of Kanagawa. And this is Sendoh Akira, a skilled basketball player as well, from the Ryonan district of Kanagawa. Guys, this is Ran...our newest member to our family."

Fujima and Sendoh shook hands with Ran.

"Are you hungry, Ran-kun? I'm afraid Akira-kun and Tsu have managed to just about clear everything on the dining table..."Fila mentioned.

Ran smiled, "That's alright, I had my meal on my flight back to Japan"

"I'm afraid Jigs isn't around...she took a vacation with Yue-kun, you see." Jin said.

Keax bounced up from her seat, "Gochiosama! Ran-kun, I've got your suite ready by order of Jiggy...I'll take you there..." Ran bowed to the crowd before standing up and following Keax out of Riqche Dining Hall.

Fujima noticed a slight change in Jin's expression and thought he detected yet another note of frustration and jealousy in another person. "Jin-kun, psst...you alright there?" he asked, concerned.

Jin snapped out of his daze and chuckled softly, "Just fine."

The dinner finally ended with everyone retiring to their suites via various Wheels.

Fujima probed Sendoh as they sat comfortably in the Wheel, "Are you somewhat attracted to Fila-chan at all?"

Sendoh had a playing grin on his face as he carefully ignored Fujima's question, "They mentioned some night entertainment tonight...Care to pop over to any Movie Screening Theater anywhere in this Mansion and catch the latest flicks? I thought going to that cool Black Heaven pub Keax mentioned is gonna be enjoyable. I fancy a nice cocktail after dinner. She did also say something about skillful bartenders and pole-dancers hmm?" Sendoh rambled on and on, refusing a chance for Fujima to speak.

Jin trudged back to his suite, fishing out the huge bunch of keys and picked the right one out of familiarity. Sighing, he entered and the lights automatically came on. "I wonder what's on TV..." he randomly picked a remote control and switched on a plasma TV. He blinked as he realized that he was watching the Mansion's CCTV which was now focused in Ran's new suite. "Impressive home..."

Ran laughed as Keax showed him the Mansion's blueprint. "Yep! We're much larger than Fila and my country..." Keax pointed out blissfully.

"Singapore?" Ran asked interestedly.

"Yeah...are you a virgin?" Keax asked point-blank.

Ran blinked, "Yes, I guess..." and flushed a little. (considering he's a person with better things to think about other than sex and he didn't have any of that either in the anime.)

Jin cringed a little as Keax asked that. He wondered if Fila had any plans for this new guy in the family. Feeling just a little discarded and lonely, he decided to switch of the CCTV and not look at the amiable conversation that Keax and Ran were enjoying. He picked up a normal phone and dialed Maki's number. It was after sometime before Maki answered, "Mmmpphhfff...moshi moshi?

Aah..."

Jin hesitated slightly, "Shinichi? This is Jin."

Maki sound a little surprised, "Soichiro! Hang on, Nobu-kun...hai it's your Jin sempai...mmff..aww..."

Jin at once understood that Maki and Kiyota were most probably too caught up in their love-making to be able to talk anyway. He joked about it and hung up soon.

Bored and confused, Jin wandered out of his suite again and made his way to Black-Heavan pub.

There was already a long line of people waiting to get into the well acclaimed pub, Black Heaven. Among them were Sendoh Akira and Fujima Kenji. It was way to long for their liking and the chauffer will only be there to pick them up at 2am. Its only 10 for goodness sake. What are they going to do till then?

Just as they were about to give up, a black Ferrari convertible pulled over. One of the bouncers opened the door allowing the guest to alight and then he got in and drove off to park the car. �Jin-sama, its been awhile since you last came here.� the other bouncer said and open up the silver buckle to let Jin in. He could only smile at that remark.

�Jin!!! Jin!!!� Fujima called out. Jin saw the two of them standing somewhere at the back of the line and called them over. �They are with me� he said and walked in with them.

The pub was exceptionally amazing. It had dark blue walls with what seem like jewels and crystals embedded into the walls to give it a sparkling effect. The floor was covered with black tiles and had silver linings. It wasn�t very smoky either. There were red couches surrounding the whole area and the middle section was left as a dance floor. Considering it being 10pm, there was already a large number of people. The bar was located at the extreme end of the pub but it was so packed that Jin redirect them to a different section of the pub.

Jin walked up to the second floor. Fujima and Sendoh just followed him, since they were pretty clueless. He walked amidst the crowd to a secluded area. �Jin-sama, its an honour to have you here today.� a lady said, opening a door for him which has the initials VIP on it. Wow!! He must be some VIP, Fujima though. Sendoh on the other hand, was already checking out the girls.

�The usual please, Kat� he said and she then went behind the bar to make some drinks for the three of them. They were actually in a what seem like a private pub. Amazing. The room, looked pretty much the same as the pub below. With dark blue walls and the same embedded crystals and jewels in the wall. Black tiles with silver lining and the comfy red couch. It also had its own bar with a wide selection of drinks and glasses of all shapes and sizes.

�How is it, you know everyone here Jin?� Sendoh couldn�t help but ask as he watched the lady making the drinks. Keax was right, she was skillful. The way she flings the bottle in the air and stuff.

�I own this place� he said casually. Fujima and Sendoh could only stare at him blankly. Jin? Owns a pub??? That can�t be right. As if he knew what they were thinking he added,

� Yes, that�s right. This place is mine. It was a gift from Keax. Isn�t she an angel?� he cringed at what he just said, remembering what he saw and heard over their CCTV. Wonder what she�s doing right now.

Fujima went over to the Hi Fi set that was in front of him and picked up a CD. He didn�t know what it was, he just yanked it in. �Hey Jin, want to dance?� he asked.

Jin looked rather puzzled and clueless at the same time. Before he could decline the offer, Fujima already pulled him and was holding his waist, dancing to the tune. Jin was taken aback at Fujima�s actions and well, just laid his hands on Fujima�s shoulders.

Sendoh was definitely bored out of this mind. Two guys, dancing, in a private pub and he�s alone, drinking something. He didn�t know what exactly but it was rather strong which made him a little dizzy.

Just when he tough things could not get any worst, Fila and Tsu came in, hand in hand. More like mouth to mouth. They were all over each other. Gross, he though. He really felt like giving Tsu a punch on the face, although he knows that Tsu met her first. There�s just something bout her, he couldn�t decode.

Now they were dancing. They looked like they were almost stripping each other. Ahh, the pain in his head was getting unbearable. He felt like exploding and watching the four of them dancing wasn�t helping either. He walked out of the room, walked down the stairs and went out back to get some air. Funny, he seemed to know exactly where the back door was.

Finally, he was out. �God, what did she put in my drink� he wondered as he held his head in pain. He sat on the steps leading into the pub and incidentally was staring at Jin�s black Ferrari. Gosh its beautiful. Beside it was a blue Ferrari, with a top this time. It look so sleek. �That must be Fila�s car, or maybe Tsu?� he said to himself, with a sudden feeling of jealousy.

�Its actually mine� a voice behind him spoke. He turned around and saw Fila in a short black dress. It was sleeveless, showing her tanned shoulders and the dress was rather tight, revealing the figure she had.

�This might help� she threw him a bottled water. �Kat must has made her specialty and Jin�s favourite. Red Tequila. Dun ask me what�s inside. I don�t know myself� sitting down beside him.

He gulped the water like it was some heavenly juice and finished it all at one go. �Dun you have somewhere to be?� he asked remembering she came with Tsu.

�Oh he�s upstairs, eating. I had the chef make something for him.� she too had a bottled water in her hand.

�Oh I see� was all he said. He didn�t know whether to be depressed or overjoyed.

�Hey want to go for a ride?� she asked, swinging the keys of her Ferrari on her finger. He looked up at her, his eyes seem to be shinning.

�Can I drive?� he asked as he flashed his handsome smile.

�How could I say no to that� she passed him the keys and walked to the passenger side of the car.

�But if you crash it, you�ll have to pay!!!� she joked. Sendoh didn�t know if that was a joke or not. He unlocked the doors and went it.

Oh lord! It was beautiful. He had never been in a Ferrari before much less drive it!! And here he was, with a lady by his side and driving for the first time in the car of his dreams. How lucky can he get?
