BRING ME TO LIFE

For Ki Ki! Thanks for always supporting me... sometimes I wonder what I would do without you...

"Aren't u coming"

"No..." he sat by the pond, watching the fishes, listening to the breeze as they whispered little secrets to him.

"..."

"You go on ahead. I don't feel like going."

"How can u not go? They are picking your bride." Sougetsu was sitting beside him. He could only stare at his prince. He knew it was hard for Shiro but it was for a greater good. No one marries the one they love... right?

"So...I'm not going." Shiro said firmly, still looking into the pond.

"Then I shall stay here with you..." Sougetsu too faced the blue waters, closing his eyes as he tried to listen to the wind's secrets.

"What?" Did he hear him right? Sou is staying with him? He turned to face his best friend only to find his eyes shut. He continued to watch him... he watched the way the wind plays with Sou's hair, as they glisten, deep blue against the sun. Sougetsu had strong features. So masculine and yet right now, he looked so divine, so stunning. He didn't know how long exactly he sat like that, observing Sougetsu.

"Eh? What's wrong?" He must have felt Shiro examining, as his first instinct was to find out why his prince was suddenly so quiet.

"Oh nothing." Shiro felt blood rushing to his cheeks, actually his entire face the moment their eyes locked for a brief moment.

"Is that blush I see?" Sougetsu teased him, after which he chuckle in amusement.

"Hey! Stop laughing." Shiro shoved him to the side, making Sougetsu fall to the side.

"That was unnecessary!" Sougetsu practically growled at Shiro as a grin slowly emerged. He pushed Shiro to the other side. Shiro rolled a few feet and was a little giddy by the move. Before he could react, Sougetsu climb on top of him. He gripped Shiro's hands to the side, preventing him from doing anything or getting away.

"Shi... I didn't realize you had such pretty eyes." Sougetsu laughed as the redness reappeared once more, covering the prince's face.

Sougetsu then realized the Shiro's hands as he stared into those brown orbs, intensely, trying to kill them with his stare.

Freed from Sou's grasp, he pulled Sougetsu down. Catching him off guard, Sougetsu came crashing into him and their lips met for a brief moment until Sougetsu tried to get back up again.

Sougetsu got off his prince and sat beside the boy, who was still lying down. He ran his fingers through his hair and later traced his lips with the same fingers. He smiled, recalling the brief but sweet moment. Should he apologize for his behaviour? It wasn't his fault anyways. He waited... and waited for Shiro to say something. Anything.

"Aren't u going to say anything?" Sougetsu asked, as he started to get impatient.

"No..." Shiro grinned, watching a frustrated Sougetsu.

"Yare... yare... what have I done?" Sougetsu whispered, letting no one but himself, hear.
